Retreat Objectives: In personal development, understanding yourself depends on being able to reflect and connect with ourselves internally, as well as through the relationships around us.

This one and a half day programme will begin the process of finding ways to:

- stay connected to yourself,

- understand yourself through your interpersonal relationships, and

- become aware of ‘some’ patterns of behaviour.

Design: A combination of structured and unstructured interventions would be facilitated for individual, small and large group work.

About the facilitator: Aditee Ghate (Ms), a keen observer of human behaviour and an experienced counsellor, has been facilitating individual self-development through group work since 2001. Aditee’s fascination with individuals and what makes them tick led her to graduate in psychology and also become a trainee analyst with the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Her considerable strengths in facilitation are complemented by her equally impressive writing talent and oratory abilities—all of which she puts to heart-warming use in both her consultancy work as well as in the helping profession.

Retreat location: A private guest home in Rompin, Malaysia. Special features are: Guest home situated on 6 acres of forested bush ideal for bird watching and walks.Two minutes walk to the beach, theatre, croquet lawn,7 air-conditioned rooms each with queen sized beds and a Lounge with bar

Cost: $240 for 2 nights’ accommodation, all meals, workshop fees. Payment in full by 5th March, 2010. Cash payment preferred.

Transport: Transport (by car) cost will be approximately $36 both ways.  If you have your own car, please let us know if you are able to offer transport and we will reimburse petrol cost.

Date: 12-14 March 2010

What to Bring: Note book, comfortable clothing, walking shoes, passport, extra cash for taxi and meal, toiletries and your succulent self.
