Youth @ AWARE's first Teens Chat Room, was held on the 11th of March 2006.  This discussion involved a group of Teens from 12-16 years old and was organised by Youth @ AWARE as part of their initiative to reach out to teens.

The session was a great success - the teens candidly shared and discussed their opinions and experiences on myriad topics, from making friends on the internet to familial relationships at home. The session was a small intimate session of 10 participants from various secondary schools. An AWARENESS AWARD was given two students who expressed the most insightful, balanced and honest opinions, and who provided original and inspired ideas.

Moving forward, Youth @ AWARE plans to continue this conversation with our dynamic teenage population, to foster greater understanding and better management of issues which affect their lives.
