The AWARE library has an extensive collection of of publications on women’s issues. It is one of the largest collections of its kind in Singapore and is managed by Ms. Hedwig Anuar, Singapore’s first female and Asian director of the National Library.
The publications books on gender studies, reference materials on laws and statistics, census reports, and newspaper clippings on AWARE and topics related to women.
The library is open to members, students and researchers during the AWARE Centre’s operating hours. Members are able to borrow books with the payment of a small deposit.
