      Watchgroups monitor Singapore’s compliance with the conventions that the government has ratified. Watchgroups ensure that Singapore is held responsible for its promises. Currently, Singapore has ratified 3 UN conventions and is legally responsible to abide by their respective guidelines. Watchgroups also follow contemporary debates in Parliament and the media in order to provide gender perspectives or recommendations.
