He believes that painting the same style can be boring not only for him but his followers, so he is constantly researching for new ideas which represent everyday rural life in Vietnam. He has been quoted in saying “I will continue to paint until I can no longer hold a brush.” Many of his paintings are in private collections throughout the world especially France, Germany, Singapore and the United States of America. He specialises using lacquer on wood, and oils and ink on canvas.

Malaysian artist Tang Juey Lee was born in the border town of Johor Bahru. He has made a successful career in painting that has taken him to far flung corners of the globe, exhibiting his work extensively during the mid 1970’s and 80’s and spreading Malaysia’s good reputation of producing talented artists.

Tang’s work is held in the private collections of many corporations, banks and institutions, including the National Museum of Singapore, Royal Collection of Saudi Arabia and Changi Airport.

Jada Art was conceived out of gallery director Valerie Cheah’s passion to help gifted Asian artists locate opportunities to showcase their talents not only in their communities, but at the world stage.
